Annual Juried Exhibits
The club's Annual Juried Exhibit is held each year to celebrate the photography of our members. It involves guest judging with a common theme each year.
Awards are given in both Black & White and Colour, as well as the "Larry Price Award" for BEST OF SHOW.
Larry Price was a long time member of the club, formerly known as the "Every Angle Photography Association".
For those that knew him, he was far from quiet but full of love and had a great passion for life, and that showed in his photography. He would have appreciated all of the images submitted to this exhibit, and would have had something to say, loudly, about all of them! Some of the photos that he submitted to this exhibit throughout the years now hang in the homes of his daughters, and it makes them feel like they have a piece of him still around.
2016 Juried Exhibit Winners
Through a stroke of luck we were back in the Marianne van Silfout Gallery to celebrate our 2016 theme "Open".
This year's judges were Gallery Curator Christina Chrylser, reknowned photographer Philip Sun, and club member Bill Milward (Bill was not involved in the selection of the top awards).

2015 Juried Exhibit
The reception to recognize the work of the 2015 Juried Exhibit theme took place on Saturday January 23, 2016 at the Marianne van Silfout Gallery at St. Lawrence College.
The 2015 theme was "CONTRASTS";
Contrast is a crucial element in photography. Contrast refers to the difference between 2 or more shades of colour or brightness, 2 or more objects or concepts; or the arrangement of opposite elements (light vs dark, curved vs straight, natural vs man made). Contrast is not always where you expect to find it!
We were very happy to have been accepted to the Marianne van Silfout Gallery! Thank you to St. Lawrence College, and gallery Curator Christina Chrysler for arranging our art work and planning this reception.
One final round of thanks to club members Mary Freamo, Don Sine, Bill Milward, and Janice Medcalf for their assistance with the entire juried exhibit process.
Our judges for this years juried exhibit were:
- Richard Martin, a very experienced photographer and frequent contributor to PhotoLife Magazine.
- Mary Louise Scappaticci, a local teacher of art and photographer at TISS.
- Dan Garswood, a local accomplished photographer, and former club member.
It should be noted that all images were anonymous at time of judging.
